Monkeying Around in Baby Lightcap's Room

Chris and I decided to release the name and so now you get to check out his room. Can you find the name? Well, I guess it's not that hard to see amongst the monkeys :) So, a while back Chris and I did a march madness bracket where we chose 16 names and then both completed our brackets with those names. We both came to the same final name winner and we love it, a classic name and it's Irish. The middle name will stay secret. 6 more weeks!

Week 31 - Our Little Irish Lightcap

Happy St. Patrick's day everybody! Chris and I went to a local Irish pub and enjoyed some shepards pie and some irish dancing. We then met up with some friends for a fun night out on the town. Baby Lightcap was having fun in the womb, moving around a lot to the music. He is gaining about 1/2 a lb a week and he is now about 3.3 lbs and 16.7 in. Chris and I went to a Prepared Childbirth Marathon today and learned a lot about relaxation techniques and about the labor process. It is a bit scary that it is getting so close, but the class was comforting because we feel more knowledgeable about whats going to happen on the big day.
Now, its time to go watch Lehigh vs. Xavier. Lehigh won their first NCAA tournament game in history 2 nights ago. I hope they can beat Xavier and go on to be the first ever 15th seed to be in the sweet sixteen. Go Mountain Hawks!

Week 30 - Cabbage Boy

The past couple weeks have been super busy. I was up at Lehigh to recruit some geniuses :) to work at FPL. I was pretty lucky to go up there during some nice weather, it didnt get too cold. My flight was delayed and I got to stop in and see Chris' Grandma and Aunt Marie which was a nice surprise. I also got to meet baby Cali for the first time. She is adorable and the Cumello's are adapting well to their new life with her.
This past weekend Chris and I went up to Tampa Hard Rock. Saturday we spent relaxing on St. Pete beach. We ordered room service breakfast and enjoyed every minute as this was our last weekend getaway before baby arrives.
Baby Lightcap is doing well, we are now on the appointment every 2 weeks schedule, getting soo close! Only 10 more weeks. He is about the size of a cabbage, about 3 lbs and 16in long. We start our baby classes next week. I am back to having more trouble eating dinner and got sick a couple times last week, but as long as he is healthy I am happy. I am still waiting for the giant decal I ordered for his bedroom to arrive, but once I have that up I will post some more pics of the nursery.

Chris and I putting together the My Little Snugabunny Cradle and Swing - Thanks Cecere Clan :)
Baby Boy gets some fresh air and getting caught up on my baby books, 10 more weeks, yikes!
