Week 24 - Nursery in Progress...

Chris is working hard getting the chair rail up this weekend. We ordered some fun wall decals which may or may not involve some silly monkeys. The crib and dresser to be delivered on Tuesday. Also we ordered baby Lightcap's name to put up on the wall, but that is top secret and will go up at the very end :) Work in progress.....

Week 23 - Bare Belly Update

Week 23 - Large Mango Boy

Our little boy is the size of a large mango. He weighs over a lb now. His lungs are preparing for breathing and his hearing is getting a lot better. He is still making me sick, and i've given in to the fact it will probably last the whole pregnancy. The enchiladas I ate on Sunday decided they were better off outside of my system than in :( The one good thing about all of it is that I am generally only sick at night. 
This weekend we put in a new closet for him, our old closet was the wire shelf and now he gets some fancy drawers and multiple level hanging racks. It came out awesome and now we have such great storage space for his stuff.

Week 21 - Our Little Monkey

He' s about the length of a banana this week and is actively kicking and flipping positions. Our little monkey :) I had a doc appt on thurs and everything is great. His heartbeat is about 145. So, I have been feeling him move for weeks now, but Chris finally felt him kick two big kicks last night! :)
We are working this month on setting up the nursery but need to sell our furniture in there first. Chris is going to put up a chair rail and we are painting the bottom a sage green and keeping the top the brown color. Then we already bought the crib, just need to give them the go ahead to deliver. Chris and I have been working on our registry and we got most of it set up on buy buy baby, babies r us and amazon. We love the buy buy baby store, it is super organized and easy to shop at. For those baby shoppers, you should definitely check out buy buy baby if you haven't already.
